ServingUnderserved is a well respected 501(c)(3) nonprofit and community based organization founded in 2007 in efforts to improve the health status and outcomes for vulnerable populations. ServingUnderserved is dedicated to building healthier and safer communities for populations in underserved areas. Our motto is: “Serving and collaborating to make our community a place where people are healthy, safe, and ready to learn.” We work with various medical and community groups to improve access to resources for the underserved.

Through our local outreach projects, ServingUnderserved has conducted health fairs screening over 2000 students at local high schools for chronic health conditions including asthma, obesity, hypertension, and depression. Resources for students identified at risk are provided for those students who need them. Our organization has collaborated with a prominent local neurologist to support and assist in efforts to improve quality of life and for underserved children with epilepsy (seizure disorders).

Through international outreach projects, ServingUnderserved has reached underserved populations spanning around the globe to include Mexico and Nicaragua.
